Now Aadhaar Portal offers freedom to its residents to check whether their Aadhaar Number is linked to Bank Account. This feature have proved very important to residents as they are easily able to check if Aadhaar is linked to bank account by using Check Aadhaar and Bank Account Linking Status from Online Aadhaar Portal without visiting bank to confirm if their Aadhaar Number have been successfully linked to their bank account or not.

So below is the procedure on How to check whether Aadhaar Number is linked to Bank Account.

How to check whether Aadhaar Number is linked to Bank Account Online (Check Aadhaar Linking Status with Bank)

• Just go to https://resident.uidai.gov.in >AADHAAR UPDATE > Check Aadhaar and Bank Account Linking Status

or

• Check Aadhaar Linking Status with Bank page by clicking here.

• Once you are on the page  Check your Aadhaar and Bank Account Linking Status, enter 12 digits Aadhaar Number (UID, e.g. XXXXXXXXXXXX) and 4 digits Security Code in the text-boxes provided and click on Send OTP.

• On clicking Send OTP button, if your Aadhaar Number is linked with mobile number, it will show OTP sent to your Registered Mobile number. Check your mobile.

• If your Aadhaar Number is not linked with mobile number, it will show "Dear Resident ensures that your mobile is registered and is verified by our system. For verification click on Email/Mobile verify link on Resident Portal. (https://resident.uidai.net.in/verify-email-mobile)".
• Enter OTP (6 digits) and click 

• On clicking  button if your Aadhaar Number is linked with bank, it will show your Aadhaar Number is linked with Bank and if it is not linked with any bank it will show “Your aadhaar is not linked to a bank”.

How to check whether Aadhaar Number is linked to Bank Account through Mobile (Check Aadhaar Linking Status with Bank)

Alternatively without internet you can also check whether Aadhaar Number is linked to Bank Account through Mobile free of cost. So what is the procedure to check if Aadhaar Number is linked to Bank Account through Mobile by dialing USSD code you will know it by following below procedure.

• From your mobile just dial *99*99*#

• It will ask you to “Please enter your 12 digit Aadhaar Number” Enter your Aadhaar Number and tap on Send Button.

• Again in next screen it will ask you to confirm your Aadhaar Number so to confirm you will have to enter 1 and tap on send button.

• In next screen you will get to know whether your Aadhaar Number is linked to bank account or not, if your Aadhaar Number is linked with bank account it will show you that Aadhaar Number is linked with Bank Account and if your Aadhaar Number is not linked with any bank it will show “Sorry, the Aadhaar Number you have entered is not linked with any bank”.

'12 अगस्त को रात नहीं होगी', जानें इस दावे का सच क्या है

सोशल मीडिया पर अखबारों का एक टुकड़ा वायरल हो रहा. इन अखबारों में बड़े-बड़े अक्षरों में लिखा है कि "96 साल में पहली बार 12 अगस्त को नहीं होगी रात". वहीं एक अन्य अखबार जो वाराणसी, गोरखपुर,इलाहाबाद और कानपुर जैसे शहरों में प्रकाशित होता है उसमें भी यही हेडिंग है.

‘12 अगस्त को रात नहीं होगी’ इस दावे ने सोशल मीडिया पर हडकंप मचा रखा है. दावा है कि 12 अगस्त को 24 घंटे उजाला रहेगा यानि उस दिन रात में भी दिन जैसा उजाला रहेगा और अंधेरा ही नहीं होगा. साथ ही ये भी कहा जा रहा है कि 96 साल के इतिहास में ऐसा पहली बार होने वाला है.

किए जा रहे हैं कई दावे

इतना ही नहीं एक दावे में यह भी कहा जा रहा है कि "दुनिया की सबसे बड़े वैज्ञानिक संस्थान नासा ने कहा है कि ऐसा चमत्कार दुनिया में पहली बार होगा." एक दावे में लोगों को डराया भी जा रहा है कि "इसे नहीं देखेने वाले लोगों को बहुत बड़ा नुकसान हो सकता है."

अंतरिक्ष वैज्ञानिक सी बी देवगन ने बताई अहम बातें

एबीपी न्यूज़ ने इस दावे की पड़ताल की. पड़ताल के दौरान अंतरिक्ष वैज्ञानिक सी बी देवगन ने बताया, "12 तारीख को मेट्योर शॉवर होना है जिसे हम उल्कापिंड कहते हैं, जिसे टूटता तारा भी कहते हैं. जिसे देखकर हम मुराद मांगते हैं. नासा टीवी ने ये जानकारी दी है कि ये 12 तारीख को इतने से इतने बजे के बीच मेट्योर शॉवर होगा."

वैज्ञानिक ने बताया, "12 अगस्त खास जरूर है, क्योंकि उस दिन मेट्योर शॉवर यानि उल्का वर्षा होने वाली है लेकिन उल्कावर्षा या मेट्योर शॉवर क्या है, ये समझने के लिए आपको टूटते तारे के बारे में जानना जरूरी है."

क्या होता है उल्कावर्षा या मेट्योर शॉवर

सी बी देवगन ने बताया, "पहले जब हमें नहीं मालूम था कि तारा टूटना क्या होता है तो ये मानते थे कि तारा टूट गया है, लेकिन असल में ये अंतरिक्ष में छोटे-छोटे रेत के दाने जैसे होते हैं. जब वो हमारे वातावरण में घुसते हैं तो फ्रिकशन की वजह से गर्म हो जाते हैं और हमें जलते हुए नजर आते हैं. उन्हें हम टूटता तारा कहते हैं वो सिर्फ एक जलता हुआ कण होता है, लेकिन जब एक साथ एक दिशा से कई सारे जलते हुए कण जमीन पर गिरते हैं तो उसे उल्कावर्षा या मेट्योर शॉवर कहते हैं."

मेट्योर शॉवर का रात या दिन होने से क्या संबंध है? इस संबंध में वैज्ञानिक ने हमें बताया, "मेट्योर शॉवर में करीब 1 घंटे के अंदर 70 से 80 पार्टिकल गिरते हुए देखे जा सकते हैं, जिससे काफी उजाला होगा. जिस समय मेट्योर शॉवर हो रहा होगा उस वक्त भारत में रात के तकरीबन 10.30 बज रहे होंगे. मेट्योर शॉवर भारत से इतनी दूरी पर होगा कि हम इसे नहीं देख पाएंगे. पश्चिमी देशों में मेट्योर शॉवर बिल्कुल साफ नजर आएगा. मेट्योर शॉवर किसी देश में दिखना या ना दिखना पृथ्वी की स्थिति पर निर्भर करता है."

उल्कावर्षा भारत में नहीं नजर आने के पीछे और क्या वजहें हो सकती हैं

"मीटिओर शॉवर तब अच्छे से नजर आता है जब आसमान में कोई और चमकीली चीज ना हो. 12 तारीख को चांद आधा होगा और अपनी रोशनी बिखेर रहा होगा. चांद नजर आ रहा होगा तो इनकी रोशनी अच्छे से नजर नहीं आएगी. ये तब अच्छे से नजर आएगा जब आसमान में चांद ना हो यानी ये अगर आमवस्या के दिन होगा तो ज्यादा बढ़िया से नजर आएगा. अगस्त में हमेशा यहां पर बादल होते हैं. मानसून का सीजन होता है तो अगर आप ऐसे जगह पर है जहां मानसून ना होता हो वो वहां अच्छे से देख सकते हैं. 12 अगस्त को रात नहीं होगी ये पूरी तरह से गलत है. हर साल ये झूठी खबर फैलाई जाती है."

झूठे हैं सभी दावे

• उल्कापात भारत से काफी दूरी पर होने की वजह से नजर नहीं आएगा. इसलिए भारत में रात में भी दिन जैसे उजाले की बात झूठी है. मेट्योर शॉवर लगभग हर महीने होता है लेकिन कुछ ही बार अच्छे से दिखता है इसलिए 96 साल में पहली बार हो रहा है ये बात बिल्कुल गलत है.
• मेट्योर शॉवर कई घंटो तक होता है लेकिन सिर्फ 1-2 घंटे जब सबसे चमकीले कण गिरते हैं तभी साफ दिखता है और रोशनी भी पैदा करता है इसलिए 24 घंटे दिन की तरह उजाला होने की बात झूठी है.
• नासा ने सिर्फ ये बताया है कि 12 अगस्त को मेट्योर शॉवर होगा और इतने बजे होगा. नासा ने कहीं भी इस बात का जिक्र नहीं किया है कि ये चमत्कार दुनिया में पहली बार होगा क्योंकि हर साल अगस्त में मेट्योर शॉवर होता है.
• भारत में मेट्योर शॉवर दिखेगा ही नहीं इसलिए नहीं देखने वालों का नुकसान होने की बात भी निराधार है.
• हमारी पड़ताल में 12 अगस्त को रात नहीं होने की बात पूरी तरह से झूठी साबित हुई है.

Fake Facebook message warns users not to accept Jayden K Smith hacker

A fake Facebook warning is urging users to avoid accepting a friend request from a user named Jayden K Smith because he is a hacker. Longer versions of this hoax claim accepting the user will result in your account getting hacked.

Variants:

Please tell all the contacts in your Messenger list, not to accept Jayden K. Smith friendship request. He is a hacker and has the system connected to your Facebook account. If one of your contacts accepts it, you will also be hacked, so make sure that all your friends know it. Thanks. Forwarded as received

This appears to be the latest in a string of fake hacker warnings, none of which have any validity. Such warnings are popular on social media – those that warn of a nefarious hacker who will compromise your security should you accept them into your digital life.

And as we have stated a number of times, such warnings make little sense. You cannot be “hacked” just for accepting a friend requests, and if such warnings were true, why wouldn’t Facebook remove such offending accounts before such warnings had a chance to go viral?

It should also be noted that there are genuine accounts with the name Jayden K Smith but we’ve also seen a surge of fake accounts using this name claiming to be “hackers” pop up as a result of this viral rumour. These accounts belong to pranksters looking to exploit this rumour, not “hackers” or cyber-crooks.

These types of warnings have been around long before Facebook, affecting users of now defunct services such as MSN Messenger, where users would pass on warnings of phantom Messenger hackers trying to add themselves into your contact list. Such warnings were equally as spurious as their more recent Facebook counterparts.

Only last week of the date of this article another fake hacker warning was being spread warning of a hacker called Anwar Jitou, and much of these current warnings are penned exactly the same only with the name of the alleged perpetrator changed. It is likely that many of these warnings start as jokes but take a life of their own when users take them too seriously.

With that said, adding strangers on Facebook isn’t a good idea, and can potentially lead to compromising your privacy and your security, albeit not in the manner described in this warning. ये फिल्म 2010 में आई अजय देवगन और कोंकणा सेन शर्मा स्टारर फिल्म अतिथि तुम कब जाओगे का सीक्वल है। फिल्म का पहला भाग काफी हद तक पुरानी फिल्म जैसा है। इसका दूसरा भाग काफी अच्छा और इमोशनल, दूसरे भाग में कहानी रफ़्तार पकड़ती है और इस फिल्म को अर्थ मिलता है।

परेश रावल ने अपने अंदाज़ को बरकरार रखते हुए एक परेशान करने वाली गेस्ट का रोल बखूबी निभाया है। फिल्म में उनकी और संजय मिश्रा की जुगलबंदी कमाल है। संजय मिश्रा ऐसे कलाकार है, जिनकी तारीफ करते आप नहीं रुक सकते। कार्तिक कृति और तन्वी ने अपने किरदारों को अच्छे से निभाया है।

फिल्म का निर्देशन और म्यूजिक अच्छा है। कुल-मिलकर ये एक एंटरटेनिंग फिल्म है और इसे एक बार देखा जा सकता है।

Urgent blood needed for a baby - Hoax message

We have been receiving a few hoax messages regularly (atleast once in a month). Messages like We have found Gold in a palace, we’ll give it to you at half rate", "You have won lottery", "I have something to share with you, please contact through email", "Urgent blood needed for a baby" etc.

One such message is

"Plz plz forward this msg urgengtlyy.. Atleast to 10 frndz a baby need AB NEGATIVE BLOOD  immediately..

We forward such messages to our friends immediately without second thought because its for a noble cause. Since I’m associated with a few good hearted groups who regularly donate blood with the help of the voluntary blood donors, before forwarding such messages we always have the habit of calling the phone number and check if there is a real need for blood. Because some times those messages are rumours or may be the need for the blood would have already been met. Calling these numbers and checking would save the unnecessary time that would have been wasted in forwarding the messages and the travel time of the donors.

When I got the above message for the first time a couple of months back, I tried calling the phone number and it was switched off. I have been getting the same message more than thrice in the last two months and whenever I tried that number, its switched off. The operator says “The vodafone number is switched off”. So it’s very clear that its a hoax message and it wastes the time of each and everyone who reads the message and forward the message. Had I forwarded the same message to hundreds and thousands of my contacts, I would have wasted their time as well.

So with this post I would like to request you all to call the contact numbers when you get such messages and confirm the real need before forwarding the message to your bulk contacts or groups. I also understand that at times we are real busy and we don’t have time to cross check it and hence we just like that forward the message to our friends, so that atleast someone helps the needy. This is with good intention, I agree. However when we have little time, then we can try to cross check. Small amount of time spent by us will save large amount of time of others, when we find the cumulative saving of time.
